I recently saw this blindie (black + indie, lol yes that just happened) film over the weekend and I really enjoyed it. The film is in limited release in select theaters around the nation and due to its popularity, the theaters have extended the dates of the showings so go check it out and help spread the word.  

Read what the folks over at Bold As Love had to say about “What’s the Big Deal About I Will Follow” and how it is working to create new models of distribution for black films.

I must say though, the poster is a bit deceptive. To give you a better sense of what the film is about, Roger Ebert called the film “one of the best films I’ve seen about coming to terms with the death of a loved one”.
